New out of the box, the fur may be compressed. Tap or shake the bed and let it sit for about 48 hours before first use to restore fullness. For a quick refresh, a low-heat tumble dry of 5–10 minutes helps revive loft.
When washing, remove the compression bag if present, shake the bed completely, and allow it to expand for about 24 hours after washing before use. Before you store or re-pack, shake it to restore fluff.
